We would like to include a “tell me about” section to our newsletter.
This is an opportunity for parents to engage their children in conversation about what students are currently experiencing at TPVS.
From Ms. Greene & Ms. Francine, Grade 6: Tell me about your “Amazing Race” itinerary. What continents are you going to and what cool places will you visit?
Tell me about the skeleton in your owl pellet. What bones can you identify?
Tell me about your skyscraper math puzzles.
Tell me about how you might use percentages in our lives.

From Ms. Hough, Art: Tell me about the media form called a Meme and what they are used for?
From Mr. Wood, Grade 5: Tell me about a good mistake you've made recently.

Tell me about the French and Indian War reenactors.

6th grade: Tell me about El Cucuy (pronounced coo-coo-EE).
TPVS Sugaring Update: The sap has been flowing. So far well over 3 gallons of syrup have been made. A huge thank you to Mr. Harrington (5th grade parent) and Mr. Hathorn (Ms. Hawthorns husband) for all of their guidance and time with helping us to get boiling this season. Keep an eye out for syrup coming home in small mason jars before April break.
The TPVS Student Council has challenged the student population in a Maple Syrup sticker label contest. The results will be announced later today!
French and Indian War: On March 29 grade 5 students had the opportunity to learn about the French and Indian War from local historical reenactor Wes Henning and Del Henning. Students had an opportunity to ask questions and explore dozens of primary resource artifacts from the time period. See pictures below.
TPVS Spring Concert: We are very excited to announce that we will celebrate the school year with a band concert. Mark your calendars for Thursday May 26, 2022starting at 6:30. Band members will need to arrive at 6. More information from Ms. Penna to come.
TPVS Bike Week: Mr. McDonough will be hosting a Bike Week at TPVS April 25 through April 29. Helmets and bicycles will be provided. Students are free to bring their own helmets. More information from Mr. McDonough to come.
TPVS Field Day: Is currently Scheduled for June 10.
Coffee Hour: You are cordially invited to a coffee hour with principal Cinquemani hosted by the TPVS PTO. Friday April 8 at 8:30am at TPVS.
Reminder: Masks for students at staff are optional starting Monday April 4, 2022.
