Firmender's Friday Update!
September 29th 2023
Fall is here!
Wow, the rain brought some chilly weather this week!! What a way to welcome in October. Fall is definitely in the air. Hoping everyone stays safe and dry this weekend!
Thank you again to our incredible PTA for hosting grade-level coffees and organizing the ice cream/movie night social last week. It is always so much fun to see our families outside of the school day.
Next week students will enjoy a special Hip-Hop assembly, brought to you by the PTA. The Hip-Hop dancers will incorporate the IB profile trait of COMMUNICATION - which will be the trait we will focus on during the month of October.
Make it a great weekend, ISD!
MEET SOFIA!
Welcome to ISD, SOFIA! Sofia joins us in grade 3 - we met her twin sister Leona in a s'more a few weeks ago! Sofia loves the color pink and is wearing one of the new ISD spirit wear items. Her favorite food is spaghetti - but don't put any sauce on it! Sofia loves cats and all her new friends at ISD. Maya, Victoria, Kyleigh, Makenzie, and Cora joined her for lunch on this rainy day.
