Annual Stakeholders Survey
Beginning March 13, LCPS' Annual Stateholder Survey window opens. This survey is the most extensive and influential feedback survey conducted by Loudoun County Public Schools each year. We use the results to assess the learning climate in our building and make plans for the following year.
Students that are not opted-out will complete the survey during the administration time. Family and staff surveys are also available during the survey window via a dedicated link sent to you on March 13, and we encourage our community to provide meaningful responses to improve processes. Parents/guardians are asked to respond once per school in which they have a child enrolled. Contact research@lcps.org if you do not receive your parent/family survey link by March 15. Please click HERE for more information about the survey!

Vaccinations for Current Juniors/Rising Seniors
All rising seniors are required to show proof of vaccination prior to the start of the 2023-24 school year. The requirement is one dose of the meningococcal vaccine (MenACWY, Menactra, or Menveo) given at age 16 or older. Please note: Men B, Bexsero, and Trumenba are not the same as MenACWY. There is a vaccination event at school on March 20 from 10am-12noon. If students return the signed consent form with a copy of the student/family insurance card by March 13, the student can receive the Menactra vaccine at school on March 20. Please find the consent form linked HERE; please contact Nurse Mehta with any questions.

PTSA
Teacher Appreciation Week: Volunteers Needed
For Teacher Appreciation Week this May, our PTSA wants to make sure every educator knows just how appreciated they are. Volunteers are needed to help plan and carry out activities to show the depth of our appreciation. Contact johnchampeptsa@gmail.com to join our planning committee.
Together in Education: Connect Your Harris Teeter Card
Our potential is high, but our earnings are low. Of all the families with students or teachers at John Champe, only 131 have connected their Harris Teeter VIC cards to earn donations for our school (#1351) through the TIE (Together in Education) Program.
● It’s easy: https://tie.harristeeter.com/together-in-education#/app/cms
● It’s free: when you shop Harris Teeter brands, a percentage of your purchase is donated by Harris Teeter to the school linked to your VIC card.
It benefits you (your families, the school, and the community): here are just a few of the ways we use the funds donated by TIE - http://jchampeptsa.org/what/
