We love decorating our office with seasonal decorations. Recently, families have gifted us with our fun lighted holiday shark, and a beautiful menorah, which we currently have on display on our front office counter.

The aim of all IB programmes is to develop internationally minded people who, recognizing their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet, help to create a better and more peaceful world. This powerful mission that drives learning informs the development of each IB World School—as well as the IB’s larger global community of students and their families, teachers and supporters.

To that end, we want to invite all of our families who wish to share their celebrations and symbols of holidays with us if you'd like to see it displayed here.

Want to get a head start on some holiday shopping that ALSO support our 6th grade sharks? Shop online at Boon Supply Sierra Fundraiser, where you'll find lots of environmentally-friendly products for your home, car, office, or under the Christmas tree, and help our 6th graders raise funds for their science camp! We would also be very grateful if you shared the link with any family or friends you feel would be interested in shopping for our cause. Thank you for supporting our 6th grade sharks!

To ensure compliance with RUSD and the state of California's volunteer policies, parents who wish to volunteer on campus during the school day must have:

RUSD Policy:

• Fingerprinting completed for RUSD specifically. Prior fingerprinting done for any agency or organization other than RUSD will not be accepted. Fingerprinting takes approximately 72 hours to clear.
• Current Tuberculosis Test (TB). TB tests expire every 4 years and must be renewed in order to volunteer. TB Tests take approximately 48-72 hours for results and results must be brought to the office.
