What I Need (WIN) Instruction✏️
SEL Second Step Program
Dear Parents,
In this week’s Second Step lesson, your child will learn about the brain’s ability to grow and change when they practice challenging things. Their brain makes new connections, and their skills and abilities develop when they practice difficult things. Having a growth mindset supports your child’s success in school and life.
One way to engage with your child this week is to tell them about a time you had to learn something challenging and explain how you persisted in learning it. Ask your child if there is anything they would like to learn this year. Please encourage your child to set a goal to achieve it
