What a fun week - Halloween seemed to go well, we loved seeing the K/1 students parade through the school!
I want to thank you all for you time as we began the early stages to developing our core values.
Curriculum Monday - While some information was already shared regarding Monday's plans I have a few more pieces of information.
All K-4 teachers (gen ed, special ed, interventionists, specialists) will be meeting in the cafe again. Counselors, and Service providers will be working on previous initiatives.
Drinks in classroom - Students should only have water at their desks during the school day. Gatorade, Prime, juice, etc should all be put aside until lunch. While some of these drinks seem benign and water based, they do cause stains to carpet and desks. Also, PRIME should NOT be allowed in nut free rooms, as we discover recently, it is not "nut safe" given it is made with coconut water. I will be including this message in the family newsletter.
November 7th - All district K-4 general ed teachers, ELL, Interventionists and paraprofessionals will be here at Spaulding on Tuesday, the 7th.
Special Education, Counselors , and service providers will be working with the Special Education Dept, location will be determined on Monday.
Nov. 11th - We really hope you are able to visit our Vendor Fair on Saturday. Spaulding will be having a Bake Sale table - if anyone would be willing/interested in baking something, please let me know.
We have food trucks, a chili cook off, 50/50 raffle, plus over 20 vendors attending!
Conferences - Please share your conference schedule with Cheryl by Thursday, Nov. 16th.
