MARSHFIELD PUBLIC SCHOOLS
Superintendent's Corner, March 22, 2024 #WeRMarshfield
THANK YOU MARSHFIELD EDUCATION FOUNDATION
Last Saturday, the MEF held their annual St. Patrick's Day 5K Road Race. The money raised goes to fund grants that promote creativity and innovation in the classroom. Since its inception, the MEF has provided over $1.1 million for these teacher-driven grants. Their goal has always been "to fund innovative projects that broaden and deepen student learning, making it more meaningful, memorable and fun."
We had a beautiful day for the race and had well over 3,600 participants. A big thanks to not only the MEF, but to the hundreds of volunteers who helped make the day possible. #WeRMarshfield

He served in that role for eight years. Most recently, he has served this past year as the Director of Educational Facilities Planning for the Weymouth Public Schools.
In order to make the best decision possible for the Furnace Brook Middle School, the Marshfield Public School District, and the Marshfield Community, we will be hosting a site visit for each candidate as follows:

Ms. Patricia Casey- Tuesday, March 26, 2024
Each candidate will be led through the same schedule:

3:45 - 4:45 - Candidate meets with Superintendent Granatino
5:00 - 5:45- FBMS Parent/Guardian focus Group (FBMS Auditorium)
We invite you to attend the appropriate focus group to meet each candidate and hear their responses to questions asked by our stakeholders. At the end of each session, you will have the opportunity to provide feedback via an exit survey. I will reflect on this feedback in making the final decision on which candidate will become the next Principal of the Furnace Brook Middle School.
Sincerely,
Jeffrey W. Granatino
Superintendent
