I hope this message finds you doing well. There is definitely a feeling of spring in the air as we head into the month of March. We are at the midpoint of quarter 3, with four more weeks to go in the quarter. Grades in Powerschool should be up to date by today for the Progress Update.
Congratulations to our girls basketball team for a win in triple overtime on Friday night! They head to Hingham on Wednesday evening for the next round. Go Wolves!
A huge shout out to our boys basketball team for a great season. Last Friday nights game was electric and while it did not end in our favor, the team played hard and played well!
Reminder there is no school tomorrow for the Primary Election.
Have a great week!

Music Theater International describes "The Drowsy Chaperone" this way: "Hailed by New York Magazine as "The Perfect Broadway Musical," The Drowsy Chaperone is a masterful meta-musical, poking fun at all the tropes that characterize the musical theatre genre. Because of its many featured roles and accessible script, The Drowsy Chaperone will fit perfectly into any company's season or school's calendar."
NRHS Jazz Night
Join us on Thursday, March 7th for the return of Nashoba Jazz Night. We will feature our jazz bands from all of our schools beginning at 6:30pm in the NRHS Auditorium. We will then combine all of our students on stage for a performance of "2nd Line". Event is free and open to the public with donations accepted at the door.
Stow Food Pantry Drive - Interact Club
“Starting on Monday, March 4 The NRHS Interact Club will be holding a food drive for the Stow Food Pantry. Please drop off all non-perishable food donations in the labeled bin at the front of the school and help bring us one step closer to ending food insecurity in our local community. “
High School Volunteers Needed
Dollars for Scholars
NRHS Dollars for Scholars Update
Scholarship Readers Wanted!
Scholarship season is open at Nashoba Regional High School, and the Nashoba Regional Dollars for Scholars organization is looking for Volunteer Readers for the incoming scholarship applications.
Scholarship applications will be accepted through March 4th. After students have submitted their applications and essays, we will need help reading applications and selecting recipients for the 30+ awards that will be offered this Spring. Being a reader involves reviewing applications at your home and, later in April (on 4/11/24 or 4/25/24), meeting with a team of readers to discuss and make final selections. The only people who CANNOT participate on a scholarship reading committee are parents of Nashoba High School seniors. The time commitment totals about 20 total hours between mid-March and the April selection night.
This is a wonderful opportunity to get involved in a local non-profit organization whose mission it is to recognize student efforts and to encourage their future success through scholarships. Nashoba Regional Dollars for Scholars proudly offers awards to a diverse group of high school seniors who’ve contributed to building their community through talents, service, and academics.
If you’re interested in being considered as a Volunteer Reader, please email Sara Kilkenny, the Dollars for Scholars Awards Co-Chair, at sgkilkenny@yahoo.com.
