Dear Rayburn Families,
As we prepare to enter our final six weeks this school year, I would like to encourage all our students to maintain their effort and dedication. We will soon be taking our state STAAR Assessments and we are expecting great results! Our teachers and students have been working hard putting strong instructional plans in place and we are confident that they will shine! We are also preparing PK-2nd to take their end of year Amplify and i Ready assessments. We are optimistic they will reach their reading level goals! It all begins with attendance. We really need students to come to school on time to ensure they benefit from the lessons our teachers have prepared. We also have some upcoming events, please be sure to read all the flyers on this SMORE. Let's work as a team for our Rayburn Rocket Scholars!!
Please help your child by having them at school each day and for the entire day. Each day they are out or hours they are picked up early, puts them behind in their learning. It is very difficult to make up this time for both the student and the teacher. Getting students to school on time by 7:50am each morning is also necessary for their learning.
