I hope everyone had an opportunity to be outside alot this weekend thanks to our Spring like weather. It looks like we may finally have a solid week of sunshine this week! We most certainly need some sunshine more than one maybe two days a week. Special thank you to our HPTO who put together another amazing Special Person's Dance yesterday! Kids and their special guests looked like they had a wonderful time! Bravo Zulu HPTO!
This week Karen Grabowski, Harrington Assistant Principal, with the help of Mrs. Allison Bakanowsky and Mr. Jon Kuffert, presented on executive functioning. Karen shared what it is, how it impacts children with vulnerabilities in different areas, and some strategies that can be used at home to support EF development. DISMISSAL REMINDER:
Please remember that if you are changing the way in which your student will be dismissed on a particular day please send in a note with your student, or call the main office. Teachers will follow the consistent plans of that day unless there is notification from a parent/guardian to them directly. Students can be confused on dismissal plans which causes extensive confusion and a delay in the dismissal process. Again, please send in a note or call the office if you change the way your student will be getting home on any particular day.
