Principal's Message
Happy March Cougar Families!
After 10 months of reflective work on the strengths and areas of growth for our school, our WASC Accreditation Visiting Committee will be on site next week to validate our self study. This is a very important and exciting process that helps provide us with actionable goals to improve the Steele Canyon experience for everyone in our community. We will share the outcomes of the Visiting Committee Report at the end of next week.
Next week is National School Social Worker Week. Our community is very blessed to have two full time social workers, Brenna Churma and Alexis Ortiz. The role of the Social Worker is to work with students, teachers, parents, and administration to help students deal with mental health, behavioral challenges and provide academic and classroom support. Please help our school in recognizing them and appreciating their work in helping our students achieve academic success.
Thank you for choosing Steele Canyon and making our school a great place to learn and work!
Rah! Rah! Cougars!
