Mrs. Jaimes and Mr. Newmyer would like to thank all parents, grandparents, and guardians for attending parent-teacher conferences.Your support and involvement are invaluable to your student's success. The insight and support you provide, not just during parent-teacher conferences, but throughout the entire academic year, play a significant role in shaping your child's educational journey.

Early Dismissal Schedule for Thursday, March 7, 2024:

• Elementary Dismissal = 11:30 AM
• Intermediate Dismissal = 11:45 AM
• Middle School = 11:45 AM
• High School = 11:30 AM
• There will be no CCLC or afternoon preschool on Thursday, March 7, or March 8 (if we win on Thursday).
  

• If the boys win Thursday, we will follow the same early out schedule on Friday, March 8.

• If students are interested in riding the Spirit Bus to the Boys State Basketball Games, they will need to get a permission slip from the office. They must be signed and turned in by the end of 8th-grade lunch on March 6, 2024. Permission Slip

• Students can get in to the game for free with their Student IDs.

The field trip scheduled for Thursday, March 7th has been cancelled so that students can have the opportunity to attend the state basketball game. We will work on finding an alternative experience for our 7th graders.

• All boys & girls interested in track should meet in the gym immediately after school on Tuesday, March 5th. Practice will begin on March 12th.

Coaches: Jasey Hill, Matt Hintz, Gabbi Menghini, Natalie Brainard, Ty Martinsen, Brooke Ramel

• All boys & girls interested in playing soccer this spring should attend the informational meeting right after school on Wednesday, March 6th. Practice will begin March 13th.

- Boys will meet in the Auditorium. Coaches: Jay Quin & Quinnn Bullerdiek

- Girls will meet in the gym. Coaches: Aaron Wagoner & Carlos Palacios

• The 8th grade PE Dance Competition will be held on March 14th at 2:30 in the middle school gym. 8th Grade families are invited to attend!
  
• Doors open at 7:30 AM, even during the winter months
• We will continue to go outside as much as we can for recess second semester.
  
• Blue tooth headphones are not allowed at Crete Middle School. We will follow the same protocol as a cell phone if headphones are confiscated.
