Measles cases in IL continue to rise. Cook County public health officials are urging residents to get vaccinated against measles if they arenβt already.
Two doses of the MMR vaccine are recommended as the best way to protect against measles, mumps, and rubella.
Children should get their first dose between 12 and 15 months, and second dose between 4 and 6 years of age. Teenagers and adults with no evidence of immunity should be vaccinated as soon as possible.
Please read the Measles Fact Sheets below for additional information.
βOnce a week, take a peekβ Please perform weekly hair checks to prevent a lice outbreak in your home.
Current 6th grade students are required to have a State of IL dental exam on file. Dental forms are due May 15th.
This is a great time to schedule summer doctor appointments. Please note action plans and medication authorization forms are to be updated and submitted every school year!
IESA sports physicals are required for student athletes. They are to be updated annually as they are valid for 365 days. Sports physicals should be submitted to the athletic department.
The Loyola mobile van was at Graves/HMS on April 9th and was a success! The van will return September 18th, 2024. Call the office for more information.
