Walden PTO Weekly

The library is looking for parent volunteers to help with ongoing tasks and projects. No classes will be present, so this will be a relatively quiet volunteer experience. Jobs will include book shelving, shelf reading to make sure books are in the right places, organization of Makerspace materials, and labeling of books. We appreciate any and all help! Save the Date for Friday, April 19th!

Walden STEAM Night is a fun, FREE, family event that lets the kids explore various experiments in science, technology, engineering, and more.

*Sensory Friendly STEAM Night: With lower crowds expected, fewer sounds, and a more relaxed environment we welcome students and families to be able to fully participate in STEAM Night from 5:30-6:00 PM. General admission is from 6:00 - 7:30 PM.

WE NEED YOUR HELP: We are looking for parent and family volunteers to set up stations for kids to explore. Past examples include: Non-Newtonian fluids AKA Slime, making butter, building circuits, planting, bubble chemistry, robotics and sourdough science.

Skate Night was so much fun! Congratulations to our Chuck-a-Puck winner, Mia. Thank you to all our volunteers, bakers, generous donations, and our very own Wildcat for making a special visit. A special thank you to Dara Steinbach and Aly Freeman for organizing such a fun filled event! We are already looking forward to next year’s Skate Night!
