March 2024 Superintendent Update

March had many incredible celebrations. Ferradermis qualified for the World Championships in Houston, Texas, Jason Bleck was awarded the Herb Kohl Teacher Fellowship, the 18th WUSD teacher since 2008 who has received this award and WHS opened its first CNA lab, that provides our students' cutting edge access to in-house technology and education.

Congratulations to Silvana del Val and Kate McNulty for being recognized as March’s Educators of the Month!

Our high school students are fortunate to have teachers as dedicated and passionate as Silvana and Kate.

Summer school runs in two sessions:

☀️Session 1: June 17 -- July 3

☀️Session 2: July 8 – July 18

Families will be able to select Summer School Courses in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal between Tuesday, April 16th - Friday, May 3rd. Parents and students will be able to pick up schedules on June 5th at 4-7pm in the High School Library.

May 24: WHS Graduation

May 27: No School

June 6: Last Day of School (Half Day)

June 17: Summer School Starts

Say “hello” to two-way messaging in the Whitewater app! The same district app now offers class streams, class announcements, and parent-teacher chat. Parents/guardians check your email with instructions to sign up and access new features.
