Good Afternoon Parker Families:
I hope that everyone enjoyed the April vacation and had the opportunity for some rest, relaxation, and fun activities. Ater the Spring vacation the year tends to really fly by as so many of our students are busy with sports, activities, recitals, scouts, and many other activities. We look forward to making the very most of the final weeks of the school year. It is important to maintain our focus and commitment towards building skills and becoming more independent learners. We will have the Math MCAS in early May along with Science MCAS for our fifth-grade students as well. Please see the dates included below.
Parker Artists of the Month
We are proud and excited to announce Corin McMillian and Mike Estinfil as our Artists of the month. We applaud their skill, creativity, and artistry. We are so fortunate to have such wonderful art educators in Anita Adler and Dawnmari Annunziata who champion and empower our students.
Newhouse Wildlife Rescue
The fifth grade had a fantastic assembly featuring the Newhouse Wildlife Rescue which is centered right here in Chelmsford. The students were enthralled with the fascinating details and pictures of the different species rescued and rehabilitated at Newhouse. The students asked thoughtful questions and were engaged and respectful throughout the presentation. Newhouse Wildlife Rescue made it a point to commend our students on their interest, engagement, and conduct. Please see pictures attached.

👟 Lace up those sneakers! The 2024 Parker Pride Run is on Sunday, May 19th @ 9am. Early bird pre-registration of $20 available until April 20th. Registration includes: event t-shirt, swag bag, drinks and snacks at finish line and raffle tickets. Event t-shirts only available for pre-registration. 🎤 The Lions' Middle School Showboat will be Saturday, May 18th at the CHS Performing Arts Center (PAC). You won't want to miss this amazing talent show starring our very own middle school students grades 5-8! Tickets will be on sale soon. ⚾ Join Chelmsford Middle School Families at Fenway Park on Thursday, May 30th @ 7:00 P.M. to see the Boston Red Sox vs. Detroit Tigers. Please Send Email: Prior to 9am on the day of the absence. Please Include: Child’s name, Grade, and Reason for absence. We encourage you to use the email option when reporting an absence, dismissal, etc. for efficiency.
**PLEASE READ**
We will continue to send automated emails home when students are absent. You will receive the email whether you notified the school or not. In order for an absence to be marked as "Excused", families will need to provide medical documentation.
