Mike Gates Named Interim Principal For Central Elementary
Gordon Culver, Central Elementary Principal, has made the decision to leave Linden. We want to wish Mr. Culver the best in his future endeavors. Beginning Monday, March 4, 2024, Mike Gates will be the Interim Principal for Central Elementary. Mike has been the Linden High School Assistant Principal for the past six years. Mike will bring enthusiasm, his welcoming personality, and a growth mindset to Central. I am confident that Mr. Gates will provide a smooth transition and a fantastic finish to the 2023-24 school year for Central Elementary.
Linden High School Principal, Darin Dreasky, and LCS Athletic Director/LHS Assistant Principal, Pete Gleason will collectively handle the responsibilities that Mr. Gates had at LHS.
Calendar Update and 2024-25 school year
The LCS school calendar for the 2024-25 school year has not been finalized and/or published. The determination of the school calendar is done through the negotiation process between the Linden Education Association (teacher's union) and the LCS Administration. Once a school calendar is established, we will share with all of our LCS families.
The LCS school calendar for the 2023-24 school year can be found on our website.
