We are the PACK!
Smiley Thoughts
PACK Guardians,
Again, next week we will have Math STAAR testing for all students on Tuesday and 8th grade social studies on Thursday. The campus will be closed to visitors both days. Thank you for understanding! Please encourage your student to do their very best so they can make our teachers and campus shine!
Volunteers needed! - We need 7th grade guardian volunteers for our 7th grade social coming up on Tuesday,!
6th grade guardians - A new opportunity is coming to Hubbard this year, Family Circle of Care Health Center will be hosting a Vaccine event day May 2 from 9 am - 2 pm. Please take advantage of this immunization clinic. Information packets will be distributed in the next 2 weeks to those students who need it. Completed forms must be returned to the school nurse to ensure that your student has a spot during the immunization clinic. You do not have to be present for your child to receive these required vaccines. Please contact the school nurse at 903-262-1567 or email eleanor.olivares@tylerisd.org if with any questions. This will help our incoming 7th grade students to be in compliance to get the required Tdap and MCV4 vaccination before August 14, 2024.
Physicals - May 1st Tyler ISD will have a free physical day. We will bus students to the Brookshire's center. This is for incoming 7th graders (current 6th) and incoming 9th graders (current 8th). HERE is the flyer.
FIELD DAYS! - We will be hosting some Olympic themed field days the last week of school at Tyler Legacy High School. How does a student earn the privilege to go? We need to just see GROWTH in their STAAR/iReady. Not all students will perform at the highest level, but everyone can show GROWTH!

There were 350 total entries at the event. Each entry was judged and given one of the following ratings based on the accumulation of points for various criteria in their interview as well as the artwork itself.
4 - Superior/Excellent (51-60 pts)
3 - Strong (37-50 pts)
2 - Developing (25-36 pts)
1 - Emerging (15-24 pts)
This event also qualified as a platinum event, which meant that all the entries that received a Superior rating were then reviewed by the judges one more time, and each judge gave one vote to their top entry. The entries that received the most votes are awarded a platinum medal. There were approximately 15 of these awarded for the whole event.
Hubbard showcased 14 entries and received 13 ratings of 4(Superior/Excellent), and 1 rating of 3(Strong), which was only 2 points away from a 4.
