Dear Families,

April was a special month with celebrations for Week of the Young Child and Earth Day, creating lasting memories! We enjoyed embracing the joy of childhood and teaching our students how they can help the environment. Looking ahead to May, we're excited to honor our wonderful teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week. Plus, we will continue learning about nature and how to be eco-friendly as we get ready for summer fun!

Teacher Appreciation Week is May 6-10. This is the perfect time to express our gratitude to our amazing teachers who work tirelessly to educate and care for our students each and every day. They are the heart and soul of our preschool, and we are so fortunate to have such a dedicated and talented team. We are celebrating our amazing teachers by collecting gift cards to pass out throughout the week, writing notes of appreciation, and stocking the break room with their favorite snacks and brunch items! More information regarding Teacher Appreciation Week celebrations will be sent via Links 2 Home.

Though many of our friends will continue with us for the Summer program, some are leaving at the end of the school year so we are celebrating with a Pre-K Graduation Celebration on Friday May 24th at 3:30 PM. We will pass out a 1/2 sheet of poster board for families to decorate to celebrate your graduate. You can include pictures, have people sign it, and add any flare you want! We will display these the week of graduation for everyone to enjoy. Families can also help decorate graduation caps, these will be sent home soon! Please be sure to RSVP for the graduation so we know how many people to plan for.

Mother's Day is Sunday May 12th and we are celebrating by hosting a Muffin's with Someone Special event on Friday May 10th during drop-off in the cafeteria.

In today’s connected world, many families turn to online reviews to learn more about the reputation of schools. Just a reminder that you can find our school on Facebook, Google, Yelp and other online directories. We’d love more families like yours, so please consider spreading the word about our school.

Our students love spending time outdoors and we want to make sure we take ample advantage of the nice weather. Please make sure to refresh the spare clothing in your child’s cubby. Take home anything that no longer fits and leave a spare set of well-fitting, weather-appropriate clothes.

We are very excited about our new door code system and would like to remind families not to hold the door open for other families to enter the school. We do require everyone to use their own door code when entering the school and if necessary, a member of the administrative team will help those who need it at the door. We thank you in advance for participation in helping us honor our commitment safety!
