READING AT HOME EVERY NIGHT IS A HOMEWORK EXPECTATION

Learners are expected to read at home every night. Each learner has a reading log that needs to be turned in as part of their weekly homework. The books your child is reading to complete their GENRE BINGO CARD, can be added to their reading log and vica versa. We need your support in making sure your child is practicing and using the reading skills and strategies they are learning.

If you choose to send your child to school with a water bottle, please be mindful that students carry the water bottle with them to lunch and recess. At recess, students are putting water bottles down in the grass and on the blacktop as there is no other place to put them. Students have been reminded that they are responsible for their water bottles.

Students should not come to school with coffee or juice in their waterbottle.
