Thank you for generously supporting our Amazon Mission Team at the Chili Cook-off on Sunday! If you missed the lunch but would like to contribute to the trip, you can put a gift in the offering plate marked “Amazon Mission Trip”, give online, or through the EBC app.

Thank you to everyone who fed us with your delicious chili recipes! Thank you to our College Ministry for serving and cleaning up afterwards. It also made my heart happy to see so many of you visiting with people you don’t normally sit with. Thank you for using the lunch to grow the bonds of fellowship within our Church Family.

We will be observing the Lord’s Supper this coming Sunday morning at the end of the sermon. Your pastors are making a concerted effort this year to raise our awareness as a church of the meaning and importance of the Lord’s Supper. We will be celebrating it monthly during 2024 - usually on the 4th Sunday of the month. I hope you’ll join us each time as we make much of Jesus and his sacrifice for us.

As you all know, we had our annual chili cook-off this past Sunday. This year, we used the cookoff as an opportunity to raise money for our missionaries who will be traveling to the Amazon region of Brazil in May. I am thrilled to let you all know that God used you to provide over $2700 towards our team’s trip. Thank you so much for generously supporting this work! It will be a trip of eternal consequence for those we travel to reach, as well as for those of us who make up the team. Your support as a church family, both financially and in your prayers, is absolutely critical to the work God wants to do through EBC in Brazil. Please continue to be in prayer as we prepare our team spiritually, and as we finish fundraising for this work over the coming months.

Ministerial Alliance in Need of Paper Sacks

Gary Bell who runs the Ministerial Alliance Food Bank is in dire need of paper sacks.

Their paper sacks go quickly. If you would like to donate paper sacks please bring them to the church office.

Senior Adult Branson Trip

April 15-17, 2024

Cost: $180.00 per person for hotel double occupancy. $200.00 per person for hotel single occupancy.

The trip includes two nights hotel accommodations , two free breakfasts at your hotel, one show and one attraction. Make your payment by Sunday, March 10, 2024. Call the church office to sign up. For questions please contact Debbie Flaming or Mary Ralston.

Worship Center

Women's Retreat

Hi Ladies! I would love for you to join us as we go, get filled up, hear Jen Wilkin teach, be refreshed, so that we can come back and pour out into our homes and church. Make sure when you register to click "in person" and mark that you're with Emmanuel Baptist Weatherford. Please let me know you registered so I can get our group organized to travel to Falls Creek and back together. Do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions. Women of The Word Bible Study

Carey Carter is leading a Bible study over the book of James upstairs in the Youth Wing on Sunday evenings. We will learn how to systematically study the Bible in a way that develops your relationship with God and His truths.
