🌒ARE YOU READY FOR THE SOLAR ECLIPSE ON MONDAY?

We are ready at Wolf Ridge! The eclipse will take place on Monday, April 8th at approx. 2:00pm. All students and staff have been provided with NASA approved safety glasses. Our teachers have been preparing special lessons for this amazing day of learning as well as teaching our students about the safety concerns. The junior high student council even purchased a special eclipse themed snack for the entire school. I am so excited to experience this rare event with our Wolf Ridge family.

If you would rather your child not participate in the viewing of the eclipse, please email your child's teacher to opt-out. If you are planning to experience this rare event with your child, please notify the office in advance of your child's absence from school on this day. We want this to be a special and safe learning experience for everyone.

There are several teachers from both Wolf Ridge and BHHS who have been nominated for teacher of the year. Now, we need your help! Please vote for your favorite BH teacher each day to increase their chance of winning.

I am excited to announce that our school will be getting an amazing new playground structure added to our playground. This new playground will be installed over the summer and ready for play at the beginning of the school year. The playground pictured above is the exact model that we will be getting! This structure includes four slides, climbers and more! It will also sit on top a rubber solid surface for the utmost safety and durability for many years of play to come for our Bunker Hill students.

We also have about 25 yearbooks that are available for purchase from last year if anyone forgot to purchase them. They are $15 each. Email Misty Perez at mperez@bhcusd.org if you are interested in purchasing a yearbook from the 2022-2023 school year. First come first serve!

Students and staff will view the eclipse with special safety glasses at approx. 1:55-2:05.

Touch-a-truck, build a book, build a bridge, build a boat and have a hot dog and chips on us.

This will be a 70s theme dance for all 6th-8th grade Bunker Hill students.

Register by April 10th for the color run!

We will honor our 8th grade students on this evening.

We will have a special fun day for our preschool students on this final day.

Family members are invited to this ceremony in our Wolf Ridge gym on this day.

PFK will host a fun day on this day for our Wolf Ridge students.
