Students will eat a yummy snack and create a fun craft to take home. If your student has a special dietary restriction, please feel free to send a specific snack for them.
DONATIONS NEEDED! We need your help to make this party a big success! Sign up here to donate something off our list. Have your student bring your donation to their classrooms February 13-15. We appreciate each and every parent's contribution!
PARENTS WELCOME! Parents can attend the Friendship Party but must sign up by February 10 so a badge can be pre-printed for you. We plan to have all badges printed and ready when you arrive! Please use this form to let us know you will be attending.

ATTENTION GRADUATING SENIORS: APPLY FOR OUR BOGGESS PTA SCHOLARSHIP
Each year, Boggess PTA awards a scholarship to a graduating senior who attended Boggess for at least two years of elementary school. The winner must be planning to attend an accredited college, university, or technical school.
HELP PROVIDE AIR FILTERS FOR OUR CLASSROOMS
Last year, PTA parents stepped up to equip our classrooms with air purifiers. Now those purifiers need new air filters to give our classrooms an extra layer of protection this winter. Our goal is to have at least two purifiers up and running in each classroom at all times.
Please visit this Sign Up Genius to donate. Purchases can be dropped off at school with the designated class/teacher's name.
Thanks once again for keeping our students and staff safe and healthy!
ENTER THE KEEP MURPHY BEAUTIFUL ART CONTEST
Create a poster with this year's theme and submit it to the Murphy Community Center by February 17 for a chance to see your art on the Murphy recycling truck.
BENNY'S VOLUNTEERS OF THE WEEK
No one works harder year round than our grade level coordinators. They run our grade level Facebook groups and keep parents informed of all the upcoming events and important information. They assist our teachers with whatever they need, from class supplies to copying and cutting lesson materials. They plan awesome class parties and so much more. Thank you to our grade level coordinator Mindee Gilbert and the entire coordinator team: Sarah Read (PreK), Whitney Tsermulas (K), Kimberly Sapp (1st), Kacey Miranda (2nd), Shannon Cox (3rd), Amy Mitchell (4th), and Kathryn Fix (5th).
Did you know that PTA purchases recorders for every fifth grader to use in music class?
Fifth Grade made this beautiful card to say THANKS to the PTA.
