Cardinal Activities April 1-6
**Reminder- ALL students in 1st through 8th grade must be accompanied by an adult to gain admittance into an athletic event being played at a Collinsville facility. We appreciate your continued support and flexibility as we navigate through the school year.
**Due to Covid 19 or inclement weather there could be changes made to the activity schedule, please be patient with us, and follow the School website for any changes.

Baseball
Baseball Varsity went undefeated for the week, and played Rejoice Christian at ONEOK Ball Field on Thursday.
Pretty cool having News on 6 out at the field this week to interview our own Parker Collins about his amazing “Immaculate Inning” last week! We’re so proud to have Parker representing the Collinsville Cardinals.
JV Baseball played some tough 6A Competition, going 2-2 for the week, but will look to get back on track this week.

Congrats to Mia Brackett and Addison Wood who finished 3rd in #2 Doubles on Tuesday at the very competitive Tahlequah Tournament.

Congratulations to Jack Keith who broke the shot and disc school record again at the Bartlesville Meet which he currently held from breaking it earlier this year. He is ranked number 1 in Oklahoma and number 6 in the Nation in Shot as well as number 10 in the nation in discus.

Golf
Girls golf finished tied for 3rd place. Karsyn Kiker finished 5th overall while Joely Wise finished in 6th place overall.
Girls Basketball Accolades
Several girls basketball players were recognized in 5A-3 All-District. Kobie Brader was named district newcomer of the year, Brie Smith was named 1st Team All-District, Kate Reid was 2nd Team All-District, and Anna Appelberg, Hayden McDowell, and Jennah Christian were all All-District Honorable Mention.
Collinsville Choir to be represented at prestigious Quartz Mountain
Congratulations go out to Liv Taylor Natalie Ingram, Hannah Clement, Landry Warder, Ella Fillmore and Mia Morrison for being accepted into the Oklahoma Summer Arts institute at Quartz Mountain for Vocal Music. And to Leah Rule for Acting!!
These students will now join the ranks of previous members, Matt Marr, Megan Mullally and Ree Drummond!

FCCLA
Last week, FCCLA students competed at State STAR Events on Wednesday and Thursday in Stillwater. On Monday, students received news if they placed Top 3 in the state of Oklahoma. Please help us congratulate the following students! They will find out on Thursday, April 11th at State Convention if they place 1st, 2nd, or 3rd and advance to Nationals this summer in Seattle, WA! This is a huge accomplishment for our students who have worked hard all year long!
