Grijalva Family and Friends
Time MARCHes on and Spring is almost upon us!
We’re approaching our final quarter of the school year! Thanks for all your efforts with attendance and participating in your child’s education. Spring is a time where we can reflect on new growth and enjoy the beautiful Tucson weather! Spending time as a family outdoors is a great way to relax, boosts your mood, as well as supports great health. So take advantage of all the outdoors Tucson has to offer, play at the park, hike, walk, or ride a bike.
Quarterly Reading, Writing, and Math Benchmark testing for grades 2-5 will begin soon. Please do not schedule appointments that would remove your child from their school day and make sure your they are on time so they can show all they have learned this quarter. In the event your child will be absent, please be sure to contact the front office (520-908-3600).
Thank you for your participation in the recent conferences. Please communicate regularly with your child’s teacher. You do not need to wait for conference days to seek on ways to support your child at home with their learning.
Have or know a kindergarten age student? Please help us recruit for the 24-25 school year! 2024-2025 registration is now open on ParentVUE! Yearly registration confirms that Grijalva has the most up-to-date information for your child’s success in school. Parents must re-register for the upcoming school year! Please go to ParentVUE and enroll for 2024-2025! Remember we need you to attach your proof of residency and any documents that are required for registration. Please call the office if you need assistance accessing your ParentVUE account, 520-908-3600.
Tax Credit: Don’t forget to make your tax credit contribution to Grijalva! Tax credit dollars fund academic programs, sports, fine arts, field trips, tutoring, and for a short time capital school improvements. We are very thankful and appreciative of your tax credit support. You can still donate for 2023.
