Weekly Good News

Two weeks ago, Pine Street held the Literacy Night Carnival. Students and their families had the opportunity to do many activities including crafts, games and even listening to guest readers. Each student was also able to enter to win amazing raffle items once they completed their activities.

The final winner of the week four's FAFSA Madness was Tristin Elliott! Tristin got to take home an Apple watch. Even though this madness has ended, seniors will still be able to win raffle prizes on May 1st when the Guidance Office celebrates Decision Day during both lunches. Seniors have to be in attendance to participate!

Mrs.Licari’s class read lots of great books during reading month, but they also used cooperation, perseverance, and problem solving skills to solve this 1000 piece puzzle during the month.

Wayland 10th graders visited MiCareer Quest 2024 at DeVos Place on March 27. Students were able to experience hands on career activities from over 110 companies in the areas of Agribusiness, Informational Technology, Health Sciences, Advanced Manufacturing, and Construction.

On Thursday, March 28th, Superintendent Tim Reeves visited Mrs. Hoskins classroom to read them a story while wearing a tie that the students dyed for him! The students were thrilled to see Mr. Reeves wearing their own creation.
