On April 8, 2024 a Solar Eclipse is expected. Hazlet is not in its' Path of Totality. However; we will put a few safety precautions in place on the 8th in an abundance of caution. The eclipse is scheduled to take place around 3:25 pm in our area so Kindergarten students will be traveling from school to their buses or cars for dismissal.

These are our safety precautions on April 8:

~We will have indoor recess and physical education classes.

~As students are leaving the building to board buses staff will encourage them to face front and keep their eyes away from the sky.

~Students are welcome to come to school with a hat as well.

To celebrate the Week of the Young Child Sycamore Drive students will view a special assembly on April 9 presented by ROCKNESS MUSIC!
