Good afternoon,

It was a great week back from the break at Forest Acres Elementary. We are looking forward to another great week.

Just a reminder, Boosterthon is still underway, and we need your support. Please be on the lookout for daily communication from your child's teacher and the school for ways you can contribute to this fundraiser.

Tuesday morning, we will have Chick-Fil-A biscuit sales. Biscuits will be sold in the car line for $5.00 each. Please bring exact change if you wish to purchase a biscuit. You can also make a donation to the Forest Acres PTO if you do not have exact change.

Thursday, April 18th, is our 3rd-5th SCReady ELA Field Test. Please make sure students get a good night's rest, eat a good breakfast if not eating at the school, and arrive to school by 8:00 AM.

Friday, April 19th, we will have our Boosterthon Fun Run. Please see information below for when your student will be running.

Boosterthon Fundraiser

Our Booster program was kicked off this past week. We will continue the fundraiser event until this coming Friday. The scheduled times for the Boosterthon Fun Run are:

8:30 AM - 9:00 AM - K4, Mrs. Lee, and Mrs. Lewis Fun Run

9:00 AM - 10:00 AM - 2nd and 3rd grades Fun Run

10:00 AM - 11:00 AM - 5K and 1st grades Fun Run

11:00 AM - 12:00 PM - 4th and 5th Color Run

There is still time left to donate, and you can sign your student up and share their link on mybooster.com! A couple other easy ways to help are:

1) Uploading your student's picture on mybooster.com to create a Student Star video you can share with friends + family.

2) Sharing about our fundraiser on social media! We also have a challenge for this weekend where any student who earns a $2/lap or $60 flat donation over the weekend will earn a Dude Perfect frisbee! Thanks so much for your support!
