In order to make Multicultural Night a huge success, we need parental support. An interest survey regarding participation was recently digitally shared with our Carr families. However, due to a lack of responses, this event has been cancelled. We will revisit this idea in the future. Thank you for understanding.

ID BADGES
ID badges are considered part of the students' uniform and must be worn around the students' necks at all times. Parents, please help us by ensuring your students remember to wear their ID badges to school. Thanks for your support in this area.

IB Learner Profile
IB Learner Profile Trait of the Month: RISK-TAKERS
Students who are RISK-TAKERS have courage to try new things. They try to solve problems in a lot of ways. They have the bravery to tell people what they think is right.
How can parents help at home to develop students who are RISK-TAKERS?
- Encourage your students to try an activity they haven’t tried before.
- If your students are feeling uneasy about trying something, encourage them to attempt it and then reflect on both whether they liked the activity and how it felt to try something new.
- Your student may want to set some short-term goals. Consider activities that make him/her nervous. What are realistic goals for the week?
- Go out to dinner and allow your student to order something different from the menu.
Be careful to explain to your child the difference between being a risk-taker by trying new things as opposed to doing dangerous things.
