A Message From The Superintendent
Connecting home and school makes us a great community of learners. ~ Unknown
As we begin the last month of the school year, it is amazing to look back at the immense number of academic and extracurricular accomplishments of our students. We are so very proud of this student achievement and extremely grateful for the outstanding SHISD teachers and staff who lead the classrooms and programs where students thrive and succeed.
Parents, thank you for entrusting your children to Spring Hill ISD as we all work together to provide the absolute best school experience for our students.
Teacher Appreciation Week is May 6-10. When you have the opportunity, please thank a teacher for the incredible impact they have on the future of our students and community.
Sincerely,
Penny Fleet

The SHJH students made sensory bottles for the participants in Buckner programs, wrote shoe notes to put inside shoes that will be collected and distributed this summer at School Supply Train, and learned about the services Buckner provides to our community.
"It was a great day to spend time learning about a nonprofit doing so much good here in our town and around the world," said Haney.
Spring Hill High School Students Present AP Research Findings
Spring Hill High School AP Research students recently completed their research presentations. While in AP Research, taught by Susan Curtis, students design, plan, and implement a yearlong investigation to address a research question. Through this inquiry, they further the skills they acquired in the AP Seminar course by learning research methodology, employing ethical research practices, and accessing, analyzing, and synthesizing information. Students reflect on their skill development, document their processes, and curate the artifacts of their scholarly work through a process and reflection portfolio.
Admission Accomplished
To recognize and celebrate seniors for developing a plan for their life beyond high school graduation, Spring Hill ISD is hosting Admission Accomplished on Friday, May 3, at 11 a.m. in the High School Gym. On that day, students who have submitted their information should plan to wear a shirt or colors representing their technical school, college, military branch or employer. Parents of these seniors are welcome to attend.
