We are March-ing into 4th quarter this month

This is the part of the school year that really flies by. The month of March is packed with several activities and things going on. Our 3rd quarter ends on March 12 and 3rd quarter report cards will come home on Friday, March 15.

Read Across America Week is next week. Look at the graphic below for our dress up days and for more information on our cookie dough fundraiser, Spelling Bee, Literacy Night, and more! There is a lot going on.

Cookie Dough Fundraiser

Our Cookie Dough Fundraiser will be kicked off on Friday, March 8. Packets will be sent home with information and prizes students can earn. This is our biggest fundraiser for us as we use these funds to pay for student field trips, student activities, and other things that directly impact students in the building.

Don't hesitate to call us in the office after March 8 if you have any questions.

Girls on the Run at Central Elementary

Our Girls on the Run practices start on Tuesday, March 5, after school. All 3rd through 5th grade girls are welcome to register. Link to register

Girls on the Run is a program designed to inspire girls of all abilities to recognize and embrace their inner strength and make meaningful connections with others. Several of our Central Elementary teachers are the coaches.

3rd Quarter PBIS Celebration

Each quarter this year, we have had a building wide celebration for all of the hard work our students are doing showing their ROAR and growing their brains. For our 3rd quarter celebration, we booked The Repertory Theatre. They will be performing Puss in Boots for our whole building on March 14. We are using funds from last year's fundraiser to pay for this performance. Our students enjoy our PBIS celebrations!

Next PTO Meeting

Our next PTO meeting will be held on Monday, March 11. We will meet in our Central Elementary library at 5:30.

Topics on the agenda include: Cookie Dough Fundraiser, Field Day, and Teacher Appreciation Week.

Lost and Found

FIND AND CLAIM YOUR MISSING ITEMS

If you are wanting to go through the Lost and Found to find missing items, you have two chances to do that before we donate unclaimed items.

Thursday, February 29, our building will be open from 5-7 PM for you to come in and claim items.
March 7, during our Literacy and Fine Arts Night, is another great time for you to claim missing items.

All items that are still in the Lost and Found after March 8 will be donated.
