Principal's Message
For those that did not make opening night of Newsies Jr., our Spring musical, you're in for a treat when you do come see it. I was wowed by our students, the work they put in, and the overall production. The arts are definitely alive and well as demonstrated last night. For those that didn't make opening night, we will have performances start at 7pm on March 8th, 9th, 14th and 15th and at 2pm on March 16th. Here's a link to SchoolPay to purchase tickets online.
On another note, please continue to encourage your student to monitor their attendance through StudentVue and encourage them to make it to class on time. As a reminder, in order to be eligible to attend the school dance on the 21st, students may not have 10 tardies between 2/26 and 3/21. This policy, and other attendance incentives we've implemented, we have seen a significant decrease in the number of tardies schoolwide. Let's keep it up!!!
As always, please reach out with any questions.
Sincerely,
Mr. Roosevelt

Cleveland HS Modernization Project
Dear Cleveland High School & Cleveland Cluster Families,
The Cleveland Modernization project is at an important stage and we need your input! The future Cleveland will either need to be completely redesigned and rebuilt (Plan A) or extensively renovated and significantly rebuilt (Plan B). Either plan will provide a modern, flexible and safe learning environment for the next 100 years, and as the survey will show, each plan has both advantages and trade-offs. Translation of this message can be found here: Español |Tiếng Việt | Русский | Soomaali | 中文
The images below and in the survey provide only a rough block-form layout of each plan and do not reflect what the final buildings will look like.
A future Cleveland will either need to be completely redesigned and rebuilt (Plan A)
Or extensively renovated & significantly rebuilt while keeping the original 1929 structure. (Plan B)
