Happy April 🌷!!

April is buzzing with excitement!

🌟 Let's give a huge shoutout to our amazing 5th-grade teachers and students, along with their mentors and our fabulous IB Coordinator for putting together the spectacular IB Exhibition! 👏🎨 And let's not forget our incredible Art teacher for the beautiful canvas and art gallery! 🖼️ Thank you to the PTA superheroes for volunteering their time to make this event shine! 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️

As we gear up for state testing, let's get our kids prepped and pumped! 💪 Remember, a good night's sleep and a hearty breakfast can make all the difference! 🛌🍳 And don't forget to encourage them to take breaks and stay relaxed during the test days! 😌✏️

Here's a joke to brighten your April days: Why did the teddy bear say no to dessert? Because he was stuffed! 🐻😄

Coming to school everyday is so important. We love recognizing our students who are here every day and on time. Maybe your child's class will be recognized next week?!

Just a friendly reminder to keep everything school appropriate and according to the district parent handbook. Some of the key things are:

• Bring your school supplies and come ready on time
• Don't bring toys or anything unnecessary at school
• Only School hats/beanies
• Wear tennis shoes, not crocs or anything that may get them hurt during PE/recess

Wednesdays - Early Release (8:10 -1:20)

Thursdays - Think College Gear

Fridays - wear Las Positas Gear/colors (blue & orange)

• 4/13 - Saturday Academy 8 -12 PM (must be confirmed registrants)
• 4/16 - Parent Academy 6-8pm at the District Office FINAL MEETING
• 4/17 - Parent Academy 9-11am at the District Office FINAL MEETING
• 4/15 - PTA Meeting @ 5PM
• 4/18 - DELAC 9-10am at the District Office
• 4/22 - Rock the Test Rally & Color Run - be in white shirt that can get dirty
• 4/25 - TK/K Readiness Event @ 5 PM in the MPR
• 5/1 - Coffee w/ Principal

This year, all students will receive free meals.
