Hello, Rees Stars!

We wanted to inform you of an upcoming change regarding parking arrangements at Rees.

Beginning May 1st, the staff parking lot will be closed to parents at arrival and dismissal for safety reasons. This decision was made in order to ensure the safety of our students and staff during drop-off and pick-up times.

We understand this change may cause some inconvenience, but please know that it is being implemented with the best interest of everyone in mind. Parents are always welcome to drive through the drop-off line in the front of the school in the morning-we will gladly help your child out of the car and in to class.

We are winding down the year and beginning to prepare for our end-of-year celebrations! The last day for Parent Lunches will be May 3rd, 2024. We have loved seeing you enjoy lunch with your child and look forward to having your join us next year!

Rees' Career Day is scheduled to take place on May 3rd from 8:30-10:30 a.m., but we need your help! We need presenters-no experience necessary! If you, or a family member, are able to volunteer please complete the Google Form by April 26th, 2024.

Flem Rees Elementary School opened its doors to 650 students on August 20, 1983. It was the thirteenth elementary school built in the Alief Independent School District.
