April 15th - 19th is Public School Volunteer Week. We recognize our volunteers for many reasons. Volunteers are crucial in supporting our district and enriching the overall educational experience for students and teachers.
Providing an extra set of hands helps maximize our resources. Volunteers assist in several ways:
Tutoring
Mentoring
Fundraising
Booster Clubs
PTO
Athletic events
Jarrell Education Foundation
Most importantly, volunteers act as role models. When students see an adult giving back to the community, they see a culture of service, which is a valuable lesson. Creating a school community that supports each other brings people together. When we work together, we all succeed.
