PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Next Friday, March 15th, is a professional development day for teachers. There is no school for students.
As the weather starts to warm up I wanted to remind you that we do not have outside supervision until 8:15 (9:15 on WED). I know it is enticing for walkers to arrive early to hang out but they really should not be here until 8:15. Additionally, our drop off line was extra long this winter. Now that the weather is warming up, the line is shorter and moving faster. In order for students to be considered on-time, they should be dropped off no later than 8:24 so they can enter the building on time. Students arriving after this time need to be signed in by an adult.
The Hannaford Helps Schools annual campaign runs March 17-June 1 this year. Each year, Fisher Mitchell receives a donation from Hannaford as a direct result of this program. We are always thankful for these funds from Hannaford and community members like you. When you are done shopping, you enter the code on your receipt on their website OR you can download the Hannaford App.

Could Your Child Benefit from Mentoring?
When it comes to our children's future, we’re in this together. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bath/Brunswick pairs screened positive mentors with youth to create a community where all children achieve success.
We offer school-based mentoring, in which your child is matched with a trained adult volunteer who meets with them weekly at their school for lunch and recess.
We also offer community-based mentoring, in which your child and their Big meet to do fun things together on a schedule that works for them.
All our programs are free!
Contact Ms. DeRosa sderosa@rsu1.org for more information or visit bbbsbathbrunswick.org.
