Being in school on time and being ready to learn is always important. It is even more important during our upcoming PK CIRCLE, K-5 MAP, and STAAR assessments. Please make sure your student gets plenty of sleep and is here on time. It makes a big difference in your child’s day and will help your child perform well on the day of the test.

The CIRCLE Progress Monitoring tool helps your child’s teacher identify learning areas in which your child is developing a level of understanding that is expected for his or her age. The tool also identifies areas in which your child might need more targeted support and practice.The assessment will start on April 15 and run through May 17. Please ensure your child is present. Results will be sent home via the students blue communication folder at the end of the testing window.

You're invited to attend HHE Fiesta Parade on Thursday, April 25th at 9:00 a.m. on the outer perimeter of the school ONLY. We are excited to share that SAISD Police Chief Johnny Reyes will be our Grand Marshal! If your child has a Policeman costume, they will be invited to walk with him as a member of his "court" in the parade. For questions about your grade levels parade theme, please contact your child's teacher. Viva Fiesta!
SAISD is providing a limited number of summer program opportunities to ensure operational readiness for the schools impacted by Rightsizing. Offerings will be limited to the state-required programs including:
- PK-K Emergent Bilingual for students currently enrolled in the program Dates: June 5 - 28
- ESL Summer Academy for Newcomers Dates: June 10 - 28
- TX ACE 21st Century for students in K-8 currently participating in the TX ACE after school program. Dates: June 3 - June 28.
