Blue Ribbon Celebration
On Monday, April 8th, Dorr Elementary held a celebration for their blue ribbon title prior to the board meeting. Dorr Elementary Staff, Board Members, and Community Members all gathered together to enjoy cookies and lemonade while celebrating Dorr Elementary's accomplishments.
6th Grade Science Experiment
Students in Mrs. Foster's 6th Grade Science Class have the opportunity simulate plant growing conditions in a space station. Students worked in pairs to plant seeds for two different types of rapid growing plants. The plants were placed on a hydration system and under a constant light source. With the main variables of growing plants being kept constant, it'll be interesting to see which plant variant thrives the most by the end of the school year.
