Superintendent Information
Dear Jaguar Families,
Busy week here at Easton School!
Junior High Volleyball starts their season on Monday, February 5 with their first practice. Also, it is not too late to sign up for JH Volleyball. Please contact Mr. Hickman at hickmank@easton.wednet.edu.
The JH game schedule can be found below.
In addition, we have a school wide field trip to the Pacific Science Center in Seattle on Thursday, February 8. The idea for this trip was the originally from our Jag Leadership students. The students then worked to plan and determine the logistics of the field trip. Along they way they learned a lot about planning, communication, flexibility, and follow through. I'm very proud of their efforts and determination. It will be a learning great day for all Easton students.
Thank you and Go Jags!

New Easton School Board Member
Easton School Board is pleased to announce that it has appointed Mrs. Hailey Rarden to the Easton School Board to fill the current vacant position. She will complete the remainder of the current term.
The Board was fortunate to have two excellent candidates for the open position and, after deliberations, felt that Mrs. Rarden was the correct fit for the district at this time.
Hailey is a 2014 graduate of Cle Elum High School and a 2017 graduate of CWU with a degree in business administration. She is currently a realtor and serves on the local realtor association.
Mrs. Rarden is excited and looking forward to learning more about Easton School District. She will given the offical oath of office at the February Easton School Board meeting.
Please welcome her to the Jag Family!
Medication at School
Friendly reminder: In Washington state, all medications; prescription or over-the-counter are required to have a medical authorization to be given (or self-carried) at school for all grades. This includes medications such as Tylenol, Ibuprofen and even cough drops. If you would like your student to have medication at school, please have a health care provider fill out a Medical Authorization form found on our website, or at the front office. Once completed, the form and medication will need to be brought to the front office. The medication should be in the original medication bottle.
For questions, please email school nurse, Rachel Henderson at hendersonr@easton.wednet.edu.
