Ms. Baldwin is going to Manvel HS
It is with great pleasure that I announce my appointment as the new principal of Manvel High School. While I am sad to say goodbye to Rodeo Palms, I am excited for the opportunity to serve our community in this new role and return to the campus where I began my educational career.
I want to assure you that I am fully committed to making a smooth transition and I will work diligently to ensure that Rodeo Palms continues to thrive as we finish the 2023 - 2024 school year. I am confident that the staff and leadership team at Rodeo Palms will continue to provide the highest quality education and support to our students, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of such an incredible school community. I will be serving as the campus principal until May 24, 2024. Human Resources will be conducting interviews and a new principal will be appointed at the May board meeting.
Thank you once again for your support and encouragement. I am excited for the journey ahead and look forward to continuing to work together to make a positive difference in the lives of our students.
Sincerely,
Jamie Baldwin

Deberry Dash Sat, April 20th
My name is Carrie Cross, and I am a co-sponsor of the Manvel High School National Honor Society. Our organization began the DeBerry Dash last year in an effort to raise funds for one of our Alvin ISD families. The DeBerry family was challenged with the difficult news that their oldest son, Liam, was diagnosed with lymphoma. He underwent multiple surgeries which included limb amputations. Liam is a student at Hood-Case Elementary and is currently in remission. His parents are both teachers in the district. Our efforts are to continue to support the DeBerry Family and the Candlelighters charity.
