A Message from our Principal!
Greeting Braves Family,
Each week, we continue to celebrate our WINS for our students and staff. Our Braves are amazing leaders in our school community.
One of our academic WINS for many of our students will be our annual Awards Recognition Program. All 9th - 11th graders pursuing a Standard or Advanced Studies Diploma with a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher and 12th graders with a GPA of 3.0 or higher will be invited to a luncheon ceremony during all four lunches on Friday, May 24, 2024. Students will be e-mailed an invitation the week of April 15 and will need to RSVP by April 22. At the brief lunch ceremony, Academic Excellence Certificates will be given out to all invited students. A lunch treat will also be provided for those who RSVP by the deadline.
In addition, we will celebrate our senior award recipients on Thursday, May 23rd, at 9:30 a.m. during our Senior Awards Ceremony. More information will be shared with the seniors and their families soon. Finally, students who earn the distinction of being the outstanding student in a particular subject (i.e. Algebra 2 Student of the Year) will be recognized on the morning video announcements in late May and early June.
I hope you have an opportunity to rest, relax, and rejuvenate over spring break as we finish strong during the 2023-2024 school year. As we get closer to the end of the school year, please review pertinent information regarding the SOL asynchronous testing days.
ENJOY YOUR BREAK!!!!
