HEMLOCK PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH GAGGLE REACHOUT FOR 24/7 STUDENT CRISIS LINE
Hemlock Public School District, in its ongoing commitment to student welfare, is proud to announce a significant partnership with Gaggle ReachOut, launching a 24/7 crisis line dedicated to providing immediate support for students in need. This innovative service offers both a phone line and a chat feature, ensuring accessible, round-the-clock assistance.
The Gaggle ReachOut crisis line is more than just a helpline; it's a lifeline that fosters a personal connection—a crucial element often sought by today’s digitally savvy students. This service ensures that every student has access to a trained, caring professional ready to offer help in real-time at the very moment it's needed most.
"Our students live in a world where digital interaction is the norm, yet the yearning for a personal, human connection remains strong," said Matt Wesener, Board President of Hemlock Public School District. "Through our partnership with Gaggle ReachOut, we are meeting this need head-on, offering a service that combines the best of technology with the irreplaceable value of human empathy and understanding."
In addition to providing immediate assistance, this service allows the school district to stay informed about their students' challenges. Regular reports on the usage of the crisis line will enable the district to understand better and address the needs of its student body.
"The introduction of the Gaggle ReachOut student crisis line is a testament to our dedication to creating a supportive, empathetic, and responsive educational environment," said Don Killingbeck, Superintendent of Hemlock Public School District. "We believe in empowering our students with the resources they need to thrive academically and personally. This service is a significant step towards fulfilling that promise."
