This week, the gym floor was poured! CORE Construction Manager, Ron Haven, invited our students that might be interested in the trades to come out and take a tour and watch the contractors in action. It was a great learning experience! Click on the link below to view their tour experience!

Congrats on your biggest blood drive yet!! Thank you so much for all your hard work and for hosting our crew. I just got the results back and they are awesome. You should be really proud, as your drive continues to grow each year.

Here is a summary of the overall results--

• 31 donors registered to give
• 25 whole blood units collected
• 4 red cell units collected
• 1 plasma unit collected
• 30 units of blood collected in total
• 19 first time donors
• Potentially 80 lives saved – thank you so much!

The Junior Class Sponsors, Ms. McGuire and Mr. Mangiaracina, along with the Junior Class, have been busy planning and preparing for this year's Prom. This year's theme is Enchanted Forest. Prom will be held at the Prairie View Reception Center in Chatham and will be held from 7 PM-10 PM. Coronation will begin at 7:15. Congratulations to the 2024 Prom Court: Tyler Moore, Schylar Spradlin, Hayden Surratt, Aya Childers, Ethan Patterson, and Marissa Heironimus

Juniors and Seniors: Starting Monday you can purchase your prom tickets from Mr. M for $15/ticket. Each ticket admits 1 person, so if you are bringing someone you will need to purchase 2! Tickets can be purchased with cash or a check made out to NBHS Class of 2025. Also, if you are bringing someone who is not a current New Berlin Junior/Senior, or if they are an underclassman, they will need to get a guest form, which you can find in your email from Mr. M. Guest forms are due April 5th.

If you have ordered a 22.23; 21.22; and/or a 20.21 NBHS Yearbook, they are available for pick-up M-F 8am-4pm in the high school office.

We are at the Quarter 3 Mid-Term! If your student is struggling, here are some opportunities we offer for help:

• 8th Hour Advisory Tutoring – Our National Honor Society students offer peer tutoring from during Advisory. Please contact your child's teacher, Mr. Viola, or me and we will get them signed up for tutoring!

• After School Support –There is a staff member available to help your child from 3:30-4:30 on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with homework. Please contact me if you want your child to take advantage of this support.

• HW/Lunch Detention – Students that are missing several assignments or major projects may be assigned to a homework lunch detention until they have all missing work completed and are passing all of their classes.

• High School HW Advisory Academic Support– High school students may be assigned to a homework advisory detention until they have all missing work completed and are passing all of their classes.
