Dear Runkle Community,
March has started strong at Runkle. The past two weeks have been filled with learning, laughter, and challenges. We are extremely proud of our Boys Basketball team. They had an undefeated season and made it to the Championship game this past Wednesday. We did not get the "W" in the finals but our boys played hard against Driscoll and set a positive example of good sportsmanship for everyone who watched. Runkle celebrated the team on Friday by cheering them through the hallways with their trophy. Thank you Coach Herd and all our players for a great season!
Thanks to Mr. Pelton, the MCAS scheduled in finalized. I have attached a copy of the calendar below. We have plenty of make-up days built in for students who may miss school due to religious obligations in the coming months. Ramadan begins tomorrow, Monday March 11th. I have also attached a poster that describes the Ramadan holiday in a simple format.
Please see our list of Important Dates below. I hope everyone gets the rest they need tonight after setting our clocks to "Spring Forward" this weekend for Daylight Savings. Here's hoping to see more sunlight this week.
~ Donna
