Hello Las Positas Lions,

Thank you all for making our recent school Open House a big success! 🎉 Your presence meant a lot, and we're grateful for your support. A big shoutout to our dedicated teachers and PTA for their hard work in putting it all together. 👏

"Happy Saint Patrick's Day, everyone! 🍀 May your day be filled with luck, laughter, and plenty of green! Here's a little Irish joke to brighten your day: Why don't you ever iron a four-leaf clover? Because you don't want to press your luck!

Just a quick reminder that we'll be off all of next week for Spring Break. 🌞 We hope you have a restful and enjoyable time with your families. 🏖️

This month we will continue to focus on the IB Learner Profile 'Open-Minded'

Catch your child in the act of being open-minded. Add it to facebook, instagram, or X. Let us know in the office and we'll give your child a pride ticket.

Story Time

In 'The Colors Of Us' Seven-year-old, Lena, is going to paint a picture of herself. She wants to use brown paint for her skin. But when she and her mother take a walk through the neighborhood, Lena learns that brown comes in many different shades.

Through the eyes of a little girl who begins to see her familiar world in a new way, this book celebrates the differences and similarities that connect all people.

Coming to school everyday is so important. We love recognizing our students who are here every day and on time. Maybe your child's class will be recognized next week?!

School Appropriate~

Just a friendly reminder to keep everything school appropriate and according to the district parent handbook. Some of the key things are:

Bring your school supplies and come ready on time
Don't bring toys or anything unnecessary at school
Only School hats/beanies
Wear tennis shoes, not crocs or anything that may get them hurt during PE/recess
