I can't believe it is already Spring Break! We had a busy week with Kindness Week, Student Led Conference Night on Tuesday, Cub of the Month, and End in Mind Day! Check out all of the pictures linked below! Students also participated in 2nd grade swim lessons, first grade field trips, and several other fun activities! Crosswell is always a busy place!
We have extended the deadline for our One School, One Book Wonder Packets! Encourage your children to finish this up over the break to be able to participate in our super secret celebration! The new deadline is Tuesday, April 9th.
I hope that you enjoy this time with your family and look forward to seeing our students on Monday, April 8th.

Crosswell Reads: One School One Book with Wonder
What better way to recognize finishing our One School, One Book novel all about showing acts of kindness than by celebrating KINDNESS Week this week! We will have dress up days each day to help remind us how to show kindness!
Comprehension Packet Due to Mrs. Bogle by Tuesday, April 9th.
Once your comprehension packet is turned in, your child will receive a ticket to our Reading Celebration that will occur in May! Be on the lookout for more information about this!
If your child needs to finish reading their book or complete their Comprehension packet, feel free to let them listen to the chapters aloud using the link below. We also have a digital copy of the comprehension packet if your child would rather type their answers than write them.

Parent and Guardian Leader in Me Survey
Our school is implementing a whole-school transformational process called the Leader in Me, which teaches 21st-century leadership and life skills to students and creates a culture of student empowerment based on the idea that every child can be a leader.
Our school will be conducting surveys to learn more about key areas of strength and areas of needed growth in our school. In order for us to have a holistic picture of what is going on in our school, we are asking all full-time staff members, parents/guardians, and students in Grade 4 and up to participate.
If you decide to participate, you will be asked to complete a survey (without sharing your name or other identifying information) that will be available through the weblink below. The survey is completely voluntary, but we do hope to get feedback from one member of every household.
The parent/guardian survey takes about 12 minutes to complete and will ask questions about your child and about his or her experience in our school.
Please take this survey: https://www.leaderinme.com/s/crosswell-elementary/families
Please complete the survey by: May 8, 2024
