PRINCIPAL'S UPDATE
Dear Eagle Crest Families,
Well we can certainly say that we have experienced some wild weather this week! From warm and sunny to cold and snowy, it's been a delight to see our students out and about, basking in the fresh air, playing on our play structures, and running through our giant field. Taking advantage of such classic Colorado days to engage in outdoor activities is truly a gift, and we're grateful to be able to provide these opportunities for our students.
As we continue to embrace the outdoor learning environment, it's important to ensure the safety and security of all our students and staff. That's why I want to remind you about the emergency protocols we have in place here at Eagle Crest. Our Standard Response Protocol (SRP) is a critical component of our safety measures, designed to guide us in the event of an emergency situation. Tomorrow, we will be conducting a lockdown drill to practice our response procedures. Rest assured, all classes have thoroughly reviewed the safety steps, and our priority remains the well-being of everyone in our school community.
For those who would like to learn more about the SRP and our safety procedures, I've included some helpful information in this newsletter. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend filled with sunshine and outdoor adventures!
Warmly,
Amanda
