Dear BHS Parents and Guardians:
The graduation date has been set and graduation will be at Bloomfield High School at Phil Rubin Stadium on Tuesday, June 11th at 5:00 p.m. The rain date will be Wednesday, June 12th at the same time and location. Students will be given four tickets for infield seating and anyone who wishes to sit in the bleachers or stand outside the football field is welcome to attend. More details will be available closer to graduation.
Spring sports are officially beginning next week. We encourage all of our students to come out for one of our spring teams. BHS is currently offering Baseball, Softball, Girls Tennis, and Boys and Girls Outdoor Track as spring sports. Go Warhawks!

BHS Athletics Update
Boys Basketball:
- On Monday, March 4th, BHS' Varsity Basketball Team defeated New London, 69-60, in the first round of the Tier II State Tournament.
- On Wednesday, March 6th, BHS' Varsity Basketball Team defeated Wilton, 88-73, in the second round of the Tier II State Tournament.
- On Friday, March 8th, BHS' Varsity Basketball Team fell to Fairfield Warde, 73-71, in the Quarterfinals of the Tier II State Tournament. Congratulations to the Boys Basketball Team on another successful season!
Girls Indoor Track:
- BHS Freshman Saphyr Brown finished 1st Place in the Freshman Long Jump with a jump of 18'3" and 5th Place in the 60 Meter Dash with a time of 7.93 at Nike Indoor Nationals.
- BHS' 4x4 of Nacquelia Fletcher, Kiylah Williams, Soleigh Dixon, and Jahniya Barclay finished 1st Place at Nike Indoor Nationals in the Emerging Elite 4x4 with a season best time of 4:00.04.

Boys Indoor Track:
- BHS Freshman Breydon Evans finished 2nd Place in the Freshman Long Jump with a jump of 20'6" at Nike Indoor Nationals.
- BHS Sophomore Jesse Singleton jr. finished 6th Place in the Emerging Elite Triple Jump with a personal best jump of 13.42 meters at Nike Indoor Nationals.
- BHS Senior Ja'Mari Manson finished 5th Place in the Championship High Jump at Nike Indoor Nationals with a new personal best jump of 6-08.25, earning All American honors.

Senior Class Dues
Senior Class Dues cost $250 and are due by April 1st. If you paid the first payment of $125 on November 1st, your second payment of $125 is also due on April 1st. Checks can be made out to Bloomfield High School. Class dues are to be paid in full.

Scholarships!
There are numerous scholarships available for graduating seniors! Now is the time to apply and give yourself the best opportunity at getting some extra money to pay for college. The application for the Yvonne Lee Legacy Foundation Scholarship is now available in the guidance office. Mrs. Drury has paper applications and online applications available by request. Applicants must by a BHS senior with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. They must be a Bloomfield resident and plan on studying one of the following fields: Education, Law, Government, Political Science, Sports Management, Physical Therapy, Science Technology, Engineering, Arts or Mathematics.
