April 2024
Academic Olympics
It had been 20+ years since the South Sutter County Academic Olympics were held and we were so excited to be a part of bringing this great event back to our schools! On March 22nd, we hosted Browns School and Pleasant Grove School for the first of many more Academic Olympics competitions. In this game show style competition, each of the South Sutter County elementary schools sends a team of 4 students from each grade (4th-8th) to compete against other teams of the same grade level to answer grade-level appropriate questions about a variety of subjects.
Our Wildcat Academic Olympians did a great job answering the questions presented and took home 1st Place!! We get to keep the traveling Academic Olympics trophy and will add Marcum to the first spot on the perpetual plaque! Way to ROAR, Wildcats!
We’re already looking forward to the next competition when Browns hosts in May!
Spring Pictures- April 9th
We'll be having Spring Pictures taken on Tuesday, April 9th. Be sure to send your Wildcats to school ready to smile! No green clothing, as pictures will be taken with a green screen. Pictures will be available for purchase after proofs are available for review.
