School Wide Information
Yearbook-Are you interested in purchasing a Yearbook? Our Yearbook Crew is hard at work putting together the 2023-2024 Yearbooks for CHS and IVA. IVA's yearbook will feature students from grades 7-12 and will highlight our in-person Advisement events, field trips, and school portraits. You even have the option to customize your own 2 free pages. Please see this FLYER for information on how to purchase. Yearbooks must be purchased by April 4th. Creekside's yearbook will highlight all the great campus wide events and student engagement. It can be purchased in the front office for $20.
Angel’s Game- Come out to support our IVA ASB with an Angel Baseball Community Night on Saturday, April 27. Tickets are $20 and $5 dollars of each ticket goes back to our IVA ASB to support activities on our campus. You can purchase your tickets in person at the Creekside High School front office (cash or check), or you can purchase your tickets online using this link. The last day to purchase tickets is March 29! Tickets will be available for pick up after Spring Break.
UCI Nursing Camp- UCI’s School of Nursing is proud to announce that Nursing Camp in Summer (NCIS) will be returning for summer 2024. This is an exciting opportunity for students interested in pursuing a career in nursing. High school students entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year for fall 2024 are welcome to register. Middle school students entering the 8th or 9th grade this fall 2024 are also welcome to register. Camp registration will be open beginning Monday, April 8th and will be on a first-come basis. Mental Health Support- IUSD has partnered with Hazel Health, a behavioral telehealth provider, to expand access to mental health support for all K-12 IUSD students at no cost to families. With parent/guardian consent, students will be able to access licensed behavioral health providers virtually from home. Parents/guardians will have the option of self-referring through a link on the District’s Mental Health and Wellness webpage at iusd.org/MentalHealth. Students may be referred by school staff, with parent consent. Hazel offers counseling services in 19 different languages.

Summer Dual Enrollment- Irvine Valley College (IVC) and the Irvine Unified School District (IUSD) are excited to share the IVC/IUSD Summer College program for summer 2024 at IVC. Made possible through funding from the City of Irvine's Measure BB, the program will run from June 13 to July 26, 2024. Current IUSD 9th–11th graders and incoming 9th graders at Creekside, Irvine, IVA, Northwood, Portola, San Joaquin, University, and Woodbridge high schools will be given an exclusive first-come, first-served opportunity to enroll in any of the CSU- and UC- transferable general education classes listed on the IVC/IUSD Summer College Class Descriptions page and earn early college credit. Once classes are filled, students are placed on a waiting list. Class registration begins April 29, 2024. Students need to be enrolled into the program before registering for classes. FREE MENTAL HEALTH TRAININGSFOR IUSD STUDENTS: LGBTQIA+ Youth Mental Health. Many teenagers who identify as LGBTQIA+ face anxiety and fear of rejection as they navigate their identities. Asking for support and guidance can be even more challenging. Learn about key terms, skills, and resources to take good care of yourself and be an ally to others. Financial Aid Workshops- We are offering both in person and virtual financial aid workshop listed HERE to get support and complete your 24-25 FAFSA.
Assistance League of Irvine- will be awarding scholarships to qualifying seniors graduating from IUSD High Schools in June 2024, and who are planning to attend Irvine Valley College full-time beginning Fall 2024.One qualified graduating senior from each of the IUSD High Schools will be awarded a minimum $1,000 scholarship. Online applications are available at www.assistanceleague.org/Irvine click on the Programs tab and follow it through to High School Scholarships where you can access the requirements and the online application. Applications and supporting documents must be submitted electronically to HSScholarship@alirvine.org by March 29th, 2024
